The concreting of the foundation slab of the turbine building of power unit No. 2 of Kursk NPP-2 has been completed, and the construction of the underground part of the columns of the turbine unit foundation has begun. All planned works are proceeding according to the schedule, so five key events have already been completed since the beginning of this year.

Due to the fact that the foundation slab of the turbine building will bear a large dynamic load, during the entire period of concreting, constant monitoring of the quality of the concrete mixture and the performance of work was carried out.

The dimensions of the slab are 95 by 61 meters. The thickness on the prevailing area of ​​the building is 2 meters, at the section for entering the circulating water pipelines into the building and in the local sections of the installation of foundations for the equipment, it reaches 6 meters. The total volume of the laid concrete is 14905 cubic meters, fittings - 3347 tons.

Now, within the framework of the construction of the turbine hall of the second power unit, the specialists of the "Concern Titan-2" are to work on the construction of 20 columns of the turbine unit foundation from the mark of -7.00 meters to the mark of 0.00 meters. The total volume of concrete during the construction will be 732 cubic meters, fittings - 96 tons. In the future, pipelines, condenser group equipment, etc. will be installed in the underground part of the turbine building.

A complex of various works, including: the development and correction of the necessary working documentation, the development of especially complex work projects (OS PPR) for the implementation of construction and installation, heat installation and electrical work of the main NPP facilities, the implementation of field supervision over the construction of a CAB (construction and assembly base), the supply of the necessary equipment, has been carried out by Orgenergostroy since 2018.
