According to Yuri Mamontov, the Deputy Chief Engineer of Kalininskaya NPP, the new radiation-monitoring complex is the path forward in optimization of radiation burden of the personnel. System operation is arranged so that the information about radiation situation in all CAZ rooms is made accessible, via operative modifications and through informative monitors, for all CAZ personnel. The easy-to-use interface allows obtaining quickly the most required information.
«The employees, staying in the controlled access zone, know how it is important to know the radiological situation in the work place during implementation of a task. It facilitates defining the individual protection means, arrangement and time of implementation of the required operations, and finally reducing the radiation burden», - stressed Y. Mamontov.
