In the issue, within special interview (pp. 42-45), the General Director of the Joint Stock Company “Institute “Orgenergostroy” – Elgudjy Levanovich Kokosadze confides to the readers not only the history of startup, development and multi-year cooperation of the Company with SC “Rosatom” and its affiliates, but also the current state of the art and successes within project realization, applied know-how and plans for future.
Let us remember that late last year, Orgenergostroy celebrated in 2020 the 65th anniversary and the Stat Corporation “Rosatom” defined it as the General Contractor of the unique construction project – construction of Multi-purpose Fast research reactor MBIR (MCI IYU MBIR) on the basis of the Research Institute of Atomic Reactors (GNC NIIAR) in Dimitrovgrad, Ulyanovsk Region. Rosatom develops the fast reactor within the framework of the complex program “Development of technics, technologies and scientific investigations in use of atomic energy in Russian Federation for the period until 2024”.
