On July 12, 2022, Orgenergostroy successfully completed monolithic work at the Educational Cluster of the ISTC MSU Vorobyovy Gory. The ceremony dedicated to this event was attended by the rector of the Lomonosov Moscow State University Viktor Sadovnichiy, Vice-Rector Viktor Vaypan and representative of Orgenergostroy – project manager Vladimir Adikaev.
The readiness of the building frame is a significant stage in the construction process of the facility and it indicates soon commissioning, scheduled for the end of 2022. It is noteworthy that the solemn event dedicated to the start of the construction of the Educational (also referred to as the Management) cluster also took place on July 12, exactly a year ago.
The Educational Cluster, along with the Interdisciplinary Cluster, as well as the Nanotech and Engineering clusters, is one of four facilities within the MSU Science and Technology Valley construction project, the work on which is carried out by Orgenergostroy, the general contractor of the project. In total, within the framework of the MSU ISTC Vorobyovy Gory project, it is planned to build 9 facilities that will become ultra-modern sites for research and development of advanced solutions for young scientists and startups from Russia and around the world.
The building of the Educational Cluster, with a total area of about 15 thousand square meters, is intended to accommodate the educational block of the ISTC, as well as to accommodate office space for the management staff and administrative divisions and departments, for holding specialized events, conferences, exhibitions and consists of the following functional areas:
- exhibition zone EXPO;
- a hall for local events, a hall for press conferences;
- food court;
- premises of engineering services;
- warehouses;
- etc.
