In Dimitrovgrad, a meeting of the construction situation center for the construction of a Multipurpose Fast Neutron Research Reactor (MBIR) took place.

On August 29 in the city of Dimitrovgrad (Ulyanovsk region), a regular meeting of the construction situation center for the construction of the Multipurpose Fast Neutron Research Reactor (MBIR) was held under the leadership of the Director for Capital Investments, State Construction Regulations, and State Expert Reviews at Rosatom State Corporation, Gennady Sakharov, which focused on the discussion of the status of the project, including the progress of construction and installation works, the detailed design elaboration, the manufacture and supply of equipment, as well as other issues related to the project implementation.

The meeting participants noted the high level of the facility's readiness. Thanks to the coordinated work of all organizations involved, as well as state-of-the-art management and process solutions implemented as part of the project, the construction of MBIR has been ahead of schedule throughout the entire implementation period.

The meeting also heard a report on the results of the Student Construction Teams (SCT) members of the "Peaceful Atom - MBIR" SCT, which resulted in gratitude to the Joint Stock Company "Institute "Orgenergostroy" for the high level of reception of SCT members.
