Khmelnitskaya NPP

Khmelnitskaya NPP — Ukraine nuclear power plant located in Neteshin town in Khmelnitsk region near Goryn River. The basic objective of the plant is to cover the deficiency of electric capacities in the Western region of Ukraine.

As per the Design, the NPP comprises four power units of 4000MW total capacity with power units equipped with WWER-1000 serial reactor units. Construction of Plant was started in 1981. In July 2004 reactor startup and on August 8, 2004 first startup of KhNPP Unit 2 took place. On September 7, 2005 the State Acceptance commission signed the Act of commissioning of KhNPP Unit 2.

In В2006-07 «Orgenergostroy» Company carried out inspection of condition of Khmelnitskaya NPP Units №3 and №4 civil structures, including: reconnaissance, visual and instrumental inspections. Also review of as-built documents was performed and proposals on maintenance and repair works were developed.

The rules of construction of NPPs developed by the Company enabled realizing economically efficiently the designs of construction of Balakovo, South-Ukraine, Khmelnitskaya, Rovno, Rostov, Kalinin NPPs, as well as of Kozloduy NPP in Bulgaria, Temelin NPP in Check Republic.
